CODEPINK is a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the war in Iraq, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education and other life-affirming activities. We reject the Bush administration's fear-based politics that justify violence, and instead calls for policies based on compassion, kindness and a commitment to international law. With an emphasis on joy and humor, CODEPINK women and men seek to activate, amplify and inspire a community of peacemakers through creative campaigns and a commitment to non-violence.

This September, CODEPINK is planning a number of peace room demonstrations at the Republican National Committee. Instead of taking a confrontational attitude stance Senator McCain and his disastrous policies on Iraq, we would like to show the positive aspects of peace. With that in mind, we are organizing a PINK PARADE, creative pink actions, aerial image and other fun and exciting activities uniting to end the war in Iraq.

However, to make this wonderful PINK PRESENCE a success, we need your help! You can get involved by volunteering your time and services beginning August 1st to help prepare and launch a memorable gathering. Just send an email to peace@globalexchange.org
