The New York Junior League (NYJL), in partnership with Stribling & Associates, presents its 14th Annual Spring House Tour—a one-day event that offers an exclusive look at some of Manhattan’s most original, creative and elegant homes.
Stribling & Associates, VERANDA Magazine and MacKenzie-Childs will be the sponsors for the Spring House Tour, providing access to some of the most magnificent homes in Manhattan.
Guests of Spring House Tour will feast their eyes on the homes of celebrity designers such as Todd Merrill, a renowned dealer of American and European vintage furniture, who will open his Greenwich Village triplex on the tour. Christopher Hyland, a highly respected purveyor of high-end fabrics, wall coverings, and furniture, is including his fabulous art and antique-filled residence on the tour. Hyland’s home also features sumptuous silk fabrics that are draped on windows, walls, and furniture. New York painter, Hunt Slonem’s spectacular work studio filled with artwork, antiques, and live parrots will also be a highlight of the tour. Slonem’s studio also serves as an amazing entertaining space for his renowned dinner parties. Sara Story will be showing a duplex in Gramercy Park that highlights her contemporary, eclectic and timeless interiors.
Continental breakfast will be served at registration. Buffet lunch will also be provided at the beautiful space of MacKenzie-Childs Boutique on 14 West 57th Street. A cocktail reception will be held post-tour.
The post-tour reception will feature a silent auction where guests can bid for luxurious items and hear from featured designers and decorators. The silent auction includes a private afternoon design resource tour with Lydia Marks, the set designer for “Sex & the City: The Movie” and “The Devil Wears Prada”. All proceeds raised from the Spring House Tour will benefit the many community impact programs supported by the NYJL.
