Celebrate The Season And Help To Erase Domestic Violence At The New York Junior League’s Winter Wonderland December 20, 2007

Eat, drink and be merry, all for an important cause, at the New York Junior League’s first ever Winter Wonderland. In addition to hors d’oeuvres, an open bar and dancing, guests will have the chance to win a getaway weekend at the Mandarin Oriental Rivera Bay, the hottest hideaway resort in Mexico.

All proceeds from the event benefit the charitable activities of the NYJL including its signature project, the Mother’s Day Race: A Race to Erase Domestic Violence. The annual race, co-sponsored by the New York Road Runner’s Club, is held in Central Park on Mother’s Day. The Race seeks to reduce the incidence of domestic abuse by educating the community on the warning signs of domestic violence and heightening awareness on what can be done to keep women and families safe.

Tickets are $65 in advance for NYJL volunteers (limit of two tickets)
$80 in advance for general public
$95 at the door
