Learn more about how you can help the Rescue Warriors, when you join the Fox Valley Newcomers & Neighbors club members at an informational and entertaining luncheon on Wednesday, March 20 at the Turf Room, 1033 Kilbery Street in North Aurora, (near the intersection of north Orchard Road and south Randall Road.)
Our Luncheon Committee is delighted to welcome Jessica DiNella as our guest speaker. She along with 3 others, run a not-for-profit, NO KILL animal shelter in Elgin.
The Shelter is called "Rescue Warriors." The group rescues puppies and kittens from puppy mills. In the last month, the Rescue Warriors participated in saving nearly 30 puppies from being euthanized in Kentucky.
Their Mission Statement is as follows: Our mission at Rescue Warriors Corp is very simple. We are here to save one dog or one cat at a time until the need to euthanize healthy happy animals does not happen. We rescue from high kill shelters throughout the Midwest region of the United States. We rely solely on foster homes and private donations to care for our animals until they are adopted. We believe just like people, animals deserve the same loving and compassionate care. Just like our husbands did in the military , our hope is that no man , or in this case animal, get left behind!
For more information or to view donation items needed, please visit their website at http://www.rescuewarriorscorp.com/
