“ZORRO’S BACK IN TOWN”
at The Gaslight Melodrama Theatre & Music Hall
Written by Tim Kelly
Adapted by Christie Maturo and Michael Prince
Directed by Christie Maturo
As the title suggests, our favorite sword-fighting hero, Zorro, returns for another exciting adventure. For those of you who saw our first season's production of Zorro: The Rest Of The Untold Story, you know to expect something outrageously fun. Watch as Zorro and his fast talking Jersey mother defend the people of Old New Mexico against the villainous Buck Badum and his cohorts, Sheriff Toady and Conchita. Will the lovely Miss Alice Sweepup be freed from Buck’s grasp? Will Don Perico and his wife Senora De La Guitar get their cottage back? Will the young orphan, Lucinda, finally get to eat something? All of these questions will be answered in what is sure to be another Melodrama classic that will have you rolling in the aisles.
