Zesty Contra Dance Sacramento January 31, 2009

We'll be sending January out with zest...a ZESTY CONTRA, that is! Because there's a fifth Saturday in January and just because we thought it would be fun, we've decided to hold one of our famous ZESTY CONTRAS. Come on down Saturday, January 31 for a full night of dancing and partying till your socks fall off or you fall down, whichever comes first!

NOTE!!!! Zesty contras are not for the faint of heart...nor are they for beginners! We love to welcome beginning contra dancers to our
community, but please keep in mind that a zesty contra is not the place to learn contra dancing...zesty dances generally move at a much
faster pace than usual and many times are not taught. We'd love to welcome new and beginning dancers at one of our regular contra dances however.

Joyce Miller and Swing Farm (Ray Bierl, Charlie Hancock and Steven Strauss) will provide the entertainment for this Zesty Dance at Coloma Community Center, 4623 T Street, Sacramento beginning at 8PM. Donation for this special dance is $12/$6 FOR FULL TIME STUDENTS WITH ID ONLY.
