Zest Fest 2012 February 18, 2012

This special evening gala raises critical funds to feed the hungry in our community as the premier fundraising event for Meals on Wheels Serving Central Virginia and the Central Virginia Food Bank.
At Zest Fest, premiere chefs prepare exquisite signature dishes to complement Virginia-made vintages and craft beers. The night also features a silent auction, exciting live auction, raffle, and dancing to support hunger relief for the most vulnerable people in our region.
For every ticket purchased, Zest Fest attendees receive the chance to win a Canadian getaway to attend cooking class at the famed “Le Cordon Bleu.” 20 Zest Fest chefs will donate their talents to create unique items at individual tasting stations, and 8 wineries and 4 craft breweries will offer local libations.

Zest Fest benefits hunger relief efforts for thousands of people provided by Meals on Wheels Serving Central Virginia and the Central Virginia Food Bank. These FeedMore organizations provide comprehensive hunger relief through: distribution of food and grocery products to 31 counties and five cities; hot, healthy meals for at-risk children in summer and afterschool; backpacks filled with weekend meal items for school children in need; daily meals for homebound neighbors; and mobile food pantries for neighborhoods of high need.
