Since many years, the students felt the need for an in-house pedestal where every COEPian could exhibit his/her talent in the field of sports. It was with this idea that ZEST was initiated in 2003.

The chief organizing body of ZEST is COEP Gymkhana, which is the hub of all student activities in the college. Our vision was shared, and ZEST has grown to be forum for students from all engineering disciplines to interact and compete with each other.

ZEST comprises a host of different sports conducted at the COEP Ground and COEP Boat Club. Besides the individual prizes for each event, there is a winner based on maximum number of points and a best player award in each sport. As for organizers, the months of planning and preparation and the scintillating days of the event that follow, can only be described as an odyssey, a journey towards excellence.
