World vocalist Zera Vaughan will be performing at Tangier on Wednesday, March 28th at 9:00PM. Zera’s unique east meets west style of music utilizes her soft, seductive voice –mixing English with French lyrics – creating melodies firmly rooted in a middle eastern sound, sprinkled with jazz and laced with a hip, hop backdrop making this style of world music all her own.

Zera’s new album Back to the Roots is scheduled to be released January 30, 2007 and is produced by musical director Amir Efrat. Her music has been a long time Los Angeles favorite selling out shows at such hotspots as Tangiers, The Gig, The Whiskey, and The Lava Lounge. Zera has also performed at numerous music festivals around the world.
