Zap Mama, Jonah Matranga November 6, 2007

Zap Mama is the project of Zaire-born, Belgium-raised Marie Daulne. Formed in 1990, Zap Mama weave vocal styles from Africa and the East with sounds of the West. Over time Daulne has appeared on albums by Common, King Britt and Erykah Badu. She also jammed in the studio with the likes of Bilal and Nelly Furtado, and joined Erykah Badu's band, for the singer's 2003 national tour.

Jonah Sonz Matranga is a singer/songwriter/guitarist who has released a variety of solo material under both his own name and 'Onelinedrawing' and has previously been part of the bands Far and New End Original.
