Come watch "The Next Iron Chef" contestant and Boqueria toque Seamus Mullen in action as he jumps off the small screen and into the kitchen, demonstrating how to make five courses of his delicious regional Spanish cuisine. The evening's features are served alongside wine pairings and include chilled almond soup with grilled ramps and dates, and a marinated green and white asparagus salad accompanied by roasted morels and dandelion greens. Not to mention the cooked tuna with coco beans, braised escarole and cured lemons followed by a saddle of Hudson Valley lamb with crispy rice and early spring vegetables. To satisfy even the most indulgent of sweet tooths, Mullen ends with a butter-rum sponge cake with crème fraîche ice cream and dulce de leche.
Tickets are $95 includes amuse, five courses with wine and chef-led tutorial. All reservations must be secured with a credit card. Cancellation policy requires 48-hours notice to receive credit for another class within the spring season at De Gustibus. No refunds, only credits issued for future classes.
