Z-Way 2008 Homecoming Concert September 6, 2008

2008 Homecoming Concert featuring the United Musicians Symphony Orchestra of LA @ 8:00 pm.

Z-Way, the internationally celebrated East-West world fusion music ensemble, will make its annual homecoming Los Angeles area appearance on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse.

Z-Way features the Beijing-born gu zheng virtuoso Zhao Hui along with an all-star supporting cast of Doug McKeehan (musical director, keyboards), Jim Hurley (violin, guitar), Myron Dove (bass), Celso Alberti (drums), and Maria Martinez (percussion). Accompanying Z-Way will be the United Musicians Symphony Orchestra of Los Angeles directed by the noted composer/conductor Juan Carlos Amaro. The concert will feature four world premier pieces as well as selections from Z-Way’s first three critically acclaimed albums.
