Yumble: Dance, Theater, Opera, and Cookies May 22, 2008

Yumble! A trio of artists present new works exploring falling short, finding balance, and fumbling toward the future. Jade Raybin, Pearl Marill and Brian M. Rosen use theater, dance, opera, sketch comedy, and contortion as their mediums, revealing everyday travesties through the comedic. High concept, lightning wit and a fine touch distinguish these artists as up and coming. A round of cookies accompany their works, but sweetness will not come without bite as “Failing That,” “Remoter Control,” and “Thought Pocket” take the stage, offering up a smarting brand of laughter and joy.
