Yukos The Crude with Singer/Songwriter Sessions November 26, 2005

Yukos the Crude is an experimental rock band that spans a wide range of genres: lounge, ska, metal, prog, and oldies, to name a few. Many of their songs are satirical in nature or downright bizarre. Yukos has been compared numerous times with bands like Ween, They Might Be Giants, and the Flaming Lips. Their stage presence is energetic and usually just as zany as their songs.

Singer/Songwriter Sessions will be featuring Rob Lindsey, Justin Register (Madison Fair), Dave Britt, Andy Luadzers (Lynwood), David Adedokun, Casey Hammett, Brent McDonald, and Gabe Lopez. Come watch Columbia's storytellers from some of the best bands in town perform their songs in an acoustic setting. Hear the stories about how the songs were created. A great way to gather with friends who may be in town for Thanksgiving. The back room will be set up with candles and chairs, and seating will be limited.
