Yuk Yuk's Laugh Off 2009 April 24, 2009

Now in its fourth fantastically-funny year, the Yuk Yuk’s Laugh Off is still Canada’s biggest open comedy competition, with $25,000 up for grabs. International competitors make their way every year to Toronto from exotic and far-away lands like Australia, London, the Middle East, and Hamilton for their chance to beat the best comics Canada has to offer, and the chance for national television exposure – the finals are taped yearly for a special on The Comedy Network hosted by Mark Breslin.

The final show is hosted by Canada’s most famous comedy impresario, Mark Breslin, Yuk Yuk's Laugh Off will feature up-and-coming comics battling for comedic supremacy in front of industry-hardened judges including:
* Ashley Olivia, talent coordinator, The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien
* Celia Joseph, production manager, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson
* Bruce Hills, chief operating officer, Just for Laughs
* Michelle Daly, director of content, The Comedy Network
