Youth Music Monterey presents "Hitting the High Seas" February 26, 2011

Ahoy Mates! Youth Music Monterey’s Junior Youth & Honors Orchestras “Hitting the High Seas” concert will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 2pm at the Sunset Center located at San Carlos Street at Ninth Avenue in Carmel. Highlights include Pirates of the Caribbean, Les Préludes by Franz Liszt and Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C Major featuring 2010-2011 concerto competition winner, Kane Suga. Participate in a silent auction fundraiser featuring a sea-full of gifts!

Kane Suga, Youth Music Monterey's 2010-2011 Concerto Competition winner will be performing the first movement of Haydn's Cello Concerto in C Major. This is Kane's fifth year as a member of Youth Music Monterey, and his third year as principal cellist in the Honors Orchestra.
