Youth Baseball Program April 21, 2006

LOOK FOR INFORMATION ON SPRING TRAINING TO BE SENT HOME THROUGH SCHOOL
IN EARLY APRIL!!!

Tiger T-Ball: Ages 5- 6 (Must be entering Kindergarten in the fall). In t-ball children will be
taught the proper techniques of throwing, catching, hitting, and running the bases. A low-key, fun
style will be used to teach the fundamentals on Tuesdays. Games will be played on Thursdays and
will begin in early June. Both Tuesday fundamentals and Thursday games will begin at 5:00 pm.
League runs 4 weeks and the registration fee is $20.

Coached Pitched: This league is for girls and boys ages 7-9 years. In this league, batting tees are
used only after the second strike, upon coaches? request. Games start in early June and will be
played on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00. This league usually runs until mid to late July.
Registration fee is $30.

LITTLE LEAGUE

American League: Ages 9-10. Games start in early June. This league is a traveling league
(parent transportation required), games will be played in Deerfield, Marshall, and Waterloo. The
registration fee is $35.00. Schedule will be set by league commissioner early spring and will be
distributed to players. Coaches will contact players to notify of practice times.

National League: Ages 11-12. Games start in early June. This league is a traveling league (parent
transportation required), games will be played in Deerfield, Marshall, and Waterloo. The
registration fee is $35.00. Schedule will be set by league commissioner early spring and will be
distributed to players. Coaches will contact players to notify of practice times.

Teener League: This league is for youth ages 13 through 15 years* and is a traveling league.
This league will run from late May through the State Tournament in late July. Registration is
$40.00. Schedule will be set by coach and players will be contacted to be notified of practices and
games.

American Legion: This traveling league is for youths 16 through 19. Play begins early June and
runs through late July. Games are played in the evenings. Registration is $40.00. Schedule will
be set by coach and players will be contacted to be notified of practices and games.

*July 1st is the cutoff for eligibility in all leagues except Teener League, where the cutoff is the
following January 1st. Teams will be formed after all registrations are processed. Coaches will
contact players to notify them of first meeting date. Practice schedules will vary from coach to
coach. There is a two-fee limit for families with additional children.
Baseball and Softball Registration: Saturday, April 22nd at Cambridge Elementary School
from 8:00 ? 10:30 am. If you are unable to make registration, registration forms and
payments may be dropped off in the Activities Office, Room 15 CHS by April 24th. No
registrations will be accepted after April 24th. Make checks payable to: Cambridge
Community Activities Program.
