"Yours Truly, Miss Chinatown"
Synopsis: Every year, more than a dozen young Asian American women compete for the crown of Miss Chinatown Los Angeles. This documentary film follows two contestants through the course of the 2003 pageant and beyond. As the spectacle unfolds onstage, so does the drama of their lives- there are no pat beauty pageant answers to real life struggles with love, family, culture, and life as a modern woman.
