"You're a Star!" Free Cultural Event for Families at Sponge August 30, 2009

Sponge invites families to "You're a Star!" – a free event celebrating the Japanese and Chinese star festivals of the summer. Each child will go home with a complimentary superstar snapshot from a Yuen Lui Studio photographer, and the engaging, native-speaking teachers from Sponge will facilitate night sky-themed mini language classes in Mandarin, Spanish, French and Japanese. Refreshments and crafts will round out the event, including writing special wishes on stars, as is done in Japan.
