Do you know you could build a killer company, if only you had the right idea?
Or...
Do you know you have a killer idea, if only you had the time to build a company?
Or...
Are you an angel investor or VC with too many ideas and too much money?
Then June 19th's special edition of the Startup SIG is for you.
The night's topic is "The Second Killer Idea" (presumably you're already working on your first killer idea!).
First, our hand-picked entrepreneurs will pitch the great ideas that they just don't have time to follow up on. No powerpoint necessary.
Then, all the folks in the audience who are interested in pursuing an idea can bid against each other, pitching the idea man or woman on their ability to carry out the vision, and the amount of equity they'd let the idea originator keep.
At the end of the evening, each idea person chooses a single team on which to bestow their idea (and any investors in the audience can step in to offer funding).
Will this work? Will the next Google be born that night? Who knows! But expect a fast-paced, mind-expanding experience that's guaranteed to pump up your startup muscles.
If you are interested in presenting your second-best idea, or are an investor who wishes to attend the session, contact Chris Yeh (cyeh@symphoniq.com) to express your interest.
