Young Professionals for Patricia Madrid October 5, 2006

This event will provide critical support for the Patricia Madrid campaign in her bid to unseat Heather Wilson. Additionally, this event will be a great networking opportunity for young professionals. A similar event was held for Senator Jeff Bingaman a few months ago at the Artichoke Cafe and was very successful and a lot of fun. One of the goals of this event is to get young professionals more active in politics and help people to realize that one person does have a voice and can make a difference. And as a group - young, driven, smart and energetic people can speak with a very powerful voice and make a significant difference. Therefore, this event is not only to raise money and support for Patricia, but to create a dynamic and coherent movement in Albuquerque (and NM) of young progressive “up-and-coming” professionals to become active in the future of NM and the nation and facilitate real change.
