In 1974, Mel Brooks speared the classic horror film 'Frankenstein' with a rich parody starring Gene Wilder, and received the rare Oscar nod for a comedy for his efforts. Thirty-three years later, the successful translation of Brooks' the 'Producers' brought 'Young Frankenstein' back to life on the Broadway stage.
