Yoshiko Chuma, School of Hard Knocks, Brian Brooks Moving Company August 13, 2004

The School of Hard Knocks is an award-winning collaborative effort of choreographers, dancers, actors, singers, musicians, designers and visual artists working under the artistic direction of Yoshiko Chuma. While exploring twists of culture, the company will premiere 10,000 Steps from Japan, a choreographic journey through history. Founded in 1996, the Brian Brooks Moving Company focuses on the many principals of movement and works to bring the surrounding environment into their artwork as they layer high-energy dance with visual imagery.
