Come out and join us for an afternoon of TREE PLANTING!!
Hosted by The Regional Municipality of York & Trees Ontario, this Community Planting Event is designed to bring York Region employees, along with their families, friendes, and members of the general public together, to take part in a three hour tree planting activity, promoting community engagement and environmental action. The event aims to engage communities in local reforestation projects, and build profile around the importance of trees, shade and green urban spaces. The event will take place in a public space needing to be re-greened, and participants will have the opportunity to be involved in a very meaningful project that will have enormous environmental benefits for various communities throughout Ontario.
