York Armed Forces Day - See the Bells June 27, 2009

1.00 pm - 1.30pm and 3.00pm until 3.30pm Sunday 28 June 2.15pm until 2.45pm Armed Forces Day Carillon Recitals at York Minster Music from the First and Second World Wars played by Carillonneur John Ridgeway-Wood on the famous Carillon Bells.

Saturday 27 June
See the Bells
A limited number of Veterans and their families can, if they wish, undertake a tour of the Bells between the two recitals on Saturday 27 June, ie between 1.30pm and 3.00pm. The Tour involves the climbing of stone staircases and so participants will need to be in reasonable health. To make arrangements for a tour ring David Potter on 01904 627757.
