Join us for an exceptional evening of effervescent pop music Saturday, February 24th. We'll be warming up in the cozy Cambridge confines of the Lizard Lounge at 9:30 PM as the Student Council Presents:
-Yoni Gordon and the Goods, releasing an EP of gems from the vault before his June full-length. Catch Yoni and his infectious power pop before he sets off on what he calls "perpetual tour" this summer.
-Shumai bring their bright, jangly indie pop in from New York, about to release a 7" split with Monster Bobby (The Pipettes) this April.
-The Juliet Kilo is David Levin, who melds "dime store organs, computer glitch and homemade electronics" with his moody electropop set to video. He's a member of the Compound 440R collective.
-Mark E. Moon is a founding member of both the Handstand Command and Compound440r music collectives. He's in Plunge Into Death, and he DJed the first All Skate party at Chez Vous. He promises to put out a soft rock mixtape this year. The first entry is a Phil Collins remix:
