Yoko Kimura Shamisen / Koto Concert October 6, 2006

Yoko Reikano Kimura will make her US debut in a concert in New York on Oct. 6, 8PM. She is a young koto and shamisen virtuoso trained in the Yamada school.

Among her predominantly contemporary program is Seiho Kinea's wonderful piece "Meikyo," Katsutoshi Nagasawa's "The Pleiades," and the US premiere of James Nyoraku Schlefer's "Duo."
