Yoga Retreat for Women of Color in DC 10/23/10 October 23, 2010

The day is designed to provide an opportunity for women of color to practice yoga and a variety of holistic practices to renew the body, mind, and soul. Lead by Maya Breuer, the retreat is a day away from the distractions of daily life — no phone, no work, no children, no pets, and no noise.

We also have a special guest presenter, Maria Broom, from HBO’s “The Wire and “The Corner”.

We invite everyone to a place that welcomes the diversity of yoga for all women, from those who have never heard of yoga to gurus. We are also 5 CEUs for yoga teachers, social workers, etc. who attend the conference (and apply).
