Is weight loss one of your goals for this year? As anyone who has ever worked at losing weight knows, the effort is as much in the mind as it is in the body. In this practice, the yoga poses support the body in weight loss and the mind’s attitude about the body. In Yoga for Weight Loss, offered through UNM Continuing Education, Gloria Drayer will lead you through yoga poses to help strengthen the body. You will learn the techniques of mindful eating and mediation to encourage love of the body and mind. Class will be held from 6-7:15pm on Wednesdays, starting February 2, 2011, ending March 23, 2011 at A Time to Relax Yoga Studio, located at 11603 Menaul Blvd NE in Albuquerque, NM. Tuition is $85.
