We know, and scientific and medical research supports, that yoga provides preventative therapy for the whole body. An active and steady practice helps to prevent back pain, inflexibility and unnecessary surgery. As we age, our joints, organs, muscles, bones and even our brains all become subject to a variety of degenerative influences.
Yoga is a system of detoxification that flushes toxins, keeps the immune system strong, the joints supple, the skeleton properly aligned, the muscles loose, long and strong, and the mind and spirit focused and engaged.
Yoga for “boomers” is sweeping the nation as we search for ways to age with grace and strength. In an effort to respond to the needs and aspirations of this courageous group, join us for a gentle yet invigorating yoga practice for those 50+ who are committed to aging health, balance, flexibility, and awareness.
