Yin Yoga is a gentle, nourishing practice that consists of holding simple seated poses for longer periods of time ( 3-5 minutes ). The pace allows us to open and replenish areas of energetic stagnation, imbalance, and deficiency, thereby restoring the balance of the body's vital energetic system. In addition the mindfulness meditation is simple, but has the profound effect of leading to psychological openness, insight, and healing. When we integrate Yin with the open awareness of meditation, we find our way home to our deepest selves. This workshop is open to and appropriate for all levels.
