The Historic Hoosier Theater located on Ferry Street in downtown Vevay (IN) will present the classic old-fashioned radio play “Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus” on Dec. 12 & 13.
Behold Virginia O’Hanlon’s response to her inquiry to The Sun’s newspaper editor:
Dear Editor-I am 8years old. Some of my little friends say, “There is no Santa Claus.” Papa says, “If you see it in The Sun, it’s so.” Please tell me the truth, is there a Santa Claus?
Performances will begin at 7:00 pm on both days. The Saturday performance is part of Vevay Main Street’s Shows of Second Saturday.
Advance tickets are $8 and available at the Switzerland County Visitors Center located at 128 West Main Street in downtown Vevay. Tickets are available at the door for $10. Youth tickets are $6.
