YES! Dance Invitational October 19, 2012

Richmond's K Dance presents YES! Dance Invitational - A National Festival of Contemporary Dance. The festival takes place Oct. 19 at 8:00PM. Additional performances on Oct. 20 at 8:00PM, with a matinee performance Oct. 20 at 2:00PM. Since 1999, this festival has brought more than 90 companies to Richmond. This year’s event features 5 contemporary dance companies and Guest Artist Courtney Jones of Hope Stone Dance, who has performed the works of choreographers including Jose Limon, Mark Morris, Doug Varone and Kevin Wynn. Jones was named one of Dance Magazine's "25 to Watch" for 2012. The program also features K Dance's original dance/theatre piece "I'm Getting Used to It."
