Whether playing blistering-hot fusion or full-blown acoustic jazz, Yellowjackets is one of the most creative groups in the "rhythm & jazz" genre. Founded in 1977 as an R&B-oriented band, they continue to evolve, and their 2002 album, 'Mint Jam,' was nominated for a 2003 Grammy for Best Contemporary Jazz Album.
