SIS Productions presents the Northwest premiere of Michael Golamco’s YEAR ZERO. Vuthy is a quirky 16-year-old who thinks it's a good day if he can make it home without getting beat up for being "too Cambodian for the black and Latin kids, and not Cambodian enough for the Cambodian kids.” Ra, his older sister is working towards the American dream of a higher education their immigrant mother never had. Layered with humor and heartbreak, Year Zero is an American story of young Asians trying to find their place in life while still dealing with the legacy their parents left behind.
