Yann Tiersen w/ Jeffrey Bützer and Shannon Wright February 11, 2011

French musician and composer Yann Tiersen plays Atlanta's Masquerade on February 11th, 2011. Tiersen will showcase material from his new album, Dust Lane, in addition to pulling from his deep catalog of older material.

Known for his diverse instrumentation and minimalist approach to composition, Tiersen draws influence from classical music, French folk, musette, and avant-garde. His shows always feature a unique set of players and an equally diverse set of instruments. Tiersen regularly plays piano, accordion, violin, and electric guitar throughout his concerts. This tour will feature synths, strings, electric guitars, and drums.

Atlanta musicians Jeffrey Bützer & The Bicycle Eaters and Shannon Wright open the show.

Tickets are $20 and the show is all ages.
