Y-Dance Show May 14, 2011

Winter 2011 Y-Dance students will perform for the public starting at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, at Long Center for the Performing Arts, 111 N. 6th Street, Lafayette. The theme of this year’s show is "Once Upon a Dream." Y-Dance students - children, teens, and adults - will perform dances to tell the story of an adventurous princess who is on a journey to find her prince but along the way finds herself in the middle of other fairy tales. Dance styles will include ballet/jazz fusion, tap and hip hop. Tickets for the public will go on sale starting April 18. They will be sold at $5 in advance and $6 at the door for ages 12 and under, and $10 in advance and $12 at the door for ages 13 and up. Tickets are reserved seating only.
