Grow with us! WUWM 89.7 FM’s Spring On-air Fundraising Campaign starts March 10, 2008

WUWM depends on support from listeners like you. In order for WUWM to grow and meet rising costs, we need 1000 new donors to join the WUWM family.

Contributions – from individuals and corporate sponsors-are WUWM’s largest and most important source of funding, providing approximately 85% of the station’s operating costs. Funds raised during the drive go toward programming fees so that the station may air programs, including Morning Edition, All Things Considered, This American Life, and A Prairie Home Companion, as well as cover operating costs for both of its stations – WUWM HD-1: In-depth news and its secondary audio channel, WUWM HD-2: The Deuce, Today’s Music…All Grown-up.

WUWM offers several membership gift levels but any amount is welcomed; WUWM makes it easy to give with different payment options: check, credit card, installments. Sustaining memberships-montly or quarterly installments-provide WUWM with a steady, reliable source of income and reduce mailing costs. Planned gifts-life insurance, stock, retirement plan assets, charitable annuities or trusts, and gifts to the WUWM Endowment Fund are other ways to support the station. And, WUWM memberships make great gifts.
