This is a combined event, put on by the WSG and the Sydney Platform Developers Group. We have two very exciting presentations that are relevant to all web professionals from designers to developers, managers and
decision makers.
1. THE WEB - A BLIND PERSPECTIVE
Lee Kumutat, Training and Braille Products Manager from Quantum Technology will be talking about the web from a blind perspective. Topics covered will include:
- the web from a blind perspective
- a demonstration of assistive technologies used to access the web
- a rundown on the latest blind and vision impaired assistive technologies
This presentation is very important for anyone who wants to come to terms with web accessibility. If you have not seen assistive technologies in action then make sure you come along!
2. THE MOBILE WEB - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW RIGHT NOW
