Writing Workshop - Creating Characters November 14, 2009

From October 2009 until May 2010 Rebecca Smith will be the Writer in Residence at Jane Austen’s House Museum and will be running a series of writers' workshops.
The first workshop concentrates of Creating Characters.

Taking inspiration from the works of Jane Austen, objects in the Museum (including Jane’s own pelisse which is here until 15th November), and examples from contemporary literature, this workshop will focus on methods of creating convincing characters.

Tea and coffee provided, but please bring your own lunch. Participants must be aged 16 or over.
