Want to get your long fiction published?
Getting your work critiqued by writer of the moment, Orange Prize 2010 longlisted author MJ Hyland, will help you along that road by giving you invaluable feedback and pointers forward.
You will also get feedback from your fellow workshoppers who will provide written comments, meaning that you’ll receive a broad range of invaluable insights on what works in your fiction, and what could do with being improved.
During the workshop, there will be group discussions about each individual piece of work, and then an hour talking about the craft of publishable long fiction. You’ll take away written critiques of your work, including MJ Hyland’s thoughts; invaluable.
Maria Hyland is currently riding on the crest of a wave following the release, and critical acclaim, of her latest novel This is How. Her previous novel Carry Me Down (2006) was winner of both the Encore Prize (2007) and the Hawthornden Prize (2007) and was also short-listed for the Man Booker Prize (2006) so you are in very capable hands.
You’ll be amazed at just how much valuable information you’ll walk away with from this two hour workshop.
