A unique partnership between the Petersfield branch of the WEA (Workers’ Educational Association) and East Hampshire Leisure Learning has led to a new opportunity for local writers to sharpen their skills.
Led by East Harting resident and former editor-in-chief of the Reader’s Digest Russell Twisk, and local author and journalist Colin Dunne, the dynamic eight-week evening course ‘Write Now!’ promises guidance on everything from writer’s block to selling your work.
Now in its second year, the course offers a chance to study alongside other aspiring writers plus professional tips, helpful hints and instant feedback. Limited to fourteen students, participants are encouraged to polish their writing skills by preparing a variety of articles for publication in magazines, newspapers and journals, learning new skills and expanding writing repertoires along the way.
‘Write Now!’ will be held at Winton House, Petersfield High Street, on Wednesday evenings from November 19th. The course fee is £68 and enrolment forms are available on the first floor of Petersfield Library.
