Wreaths Across America is a National program where people come together to Honor those who have served our Country.
This Saturday Dec 11th a wreath laying ceremony will be held across the Nation at 500 National & State cemeteries. Right after the ceremony volunteers & families will place sponsored wreaths on the graves.
This Saturday I would like to invite everyone to come down to Abraham Lincoln National cemetery in Elwood for this beautiful ceremony.
Bring the children, bring your parents, cousins and the whole family. Wreaths Across America's goal is to Teach, Remember & Honor those who have served this great Country.
The ceremony at Abraham Lincoln will be at 11am.
We all know what the weather is going to be like but you will not regret coming out to see this. Just dress warm. Red Hats or Santa hats are encouraged.
Abraham Lincoln now has 25000 Veterans buried there. Tomorrow 2400 wreaths will be placed. Please help get the word out about this wonderful program so that we might have a wreath for every grave in the next few years.
You can sposnor a wreath to go on any Veterans grave anytime starting now for next year. Only $15.00 for a wreath. What a small cost in honoring those who have served this Country.
