WRAPT::IN WARP October 3, 2003

For the past six months, Warp has issued a new t-shirt design every month, the
results of collaborations with designers such as ReDeux from Tokyo; London's
Catherine Haines;
renowned design duo Kai and Sunny; Dan Sparkes; and of course Sheffield's graphic
arts collective The Designers Republic. All designs are available through warpmart,
plus some selected outlets worldwide.
Celebrating and showcasing this series, "Wrapt in Warp" launches on October 4th at
the Eclectic Gallery in west London and lasts for nine days. During the event, warp
collaborators The Designers republic, Delta and Dan Sparkes will take over the venue
and fill it with one-off artworks, clothing items, and general mayhem, while warp
artists and friends provide a musical soundtrack. Also look forward to the world
premiere of the Aphex Twin dress.

preceding their new album Spokes on 20 October, Plaid will facilitate a one-off
interactive music workshop where students from local schools will collaborate on a
new tune, with a view to releasing the finished track on Warp Records.
