Wounded Warrior Project 5K 10K Run. April 25th. Enjoy the most beautiful run in Hampton Roads! Open to the public and hosted by the Fort Monroe Spouses and Civilians Club, the Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization which seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severely injured while serving in conflicts around the world. Do not miss this unique opportunity to run/walk a course on Fort Monroe while directly helping wounded soldiers and their families! All race registration fees and donations benefit the WWP. Early pre-reg. postmarked by March 1st $20. Late pre-reg. or race day reg. (0700-0800 hrs) $25. Course begins/ends at the Bay Breeze Community Center. Awards ceremony to follow.
