The Worst Day of the Year Ride on February 14th has quickly become a quirky annual cycling tradition. The rousing beats of the Last Regiment Drum Corps will send you off on an 18-mile odyssey around downtown Portland. You'll be kept warm and comfy at every turn with belly-nourishing treats including hot cocoa, doughnuts, organic fruit, chai tea, coffee, bagels, hot cider and much more.
Laughing Planet Cafe, experts in wholesome yumminess, is cooking up a finish line meal featuring local, sustainable and organic soups served with fresh focaccia bread.
Join 3,500 of other bundled-up riders as you laugh at the elements and circle the city on bicycles. Want more of a challenge? The optional 40-mile route loop traverses the west hills out to Hillsboro. The ride is capped at 3,500 riders and it will sell out, so register early to ensure a spot on this popular ride. This event starts and finishes at the Lucky Labrador at 915 SE Hawthorne. This event is a benefit for the Community Cycling Center. MORE INFO: WorstDayRide.com
