WorldFest Houston International Film Festival April 17, 2009

WorldFest is one of the longest-running independent film and video competitions in the world. The 42nd Annual WorldFest is scheduled for April 16-25, 2009.

An annual cinematic competition that publicly screens the top winners selected by our North American film industry judges. WorldFest audiences get to meet the directors and talent, who made the cut for these 10 great days in April, 2009. WorldFest-Houston features:

•450 Indie filmmakers from around the globe
•6 Master Classes/Film industry seminars

Film Festival: April 16 – April 25, 2009
Daily Film screenings: 5 p.m., 7:15 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. (plus 1 p.m. & 3 p.m. Sat & Sun)
Film Industry Seminars: Thursday, Friday and Saturday April 22, 23 and 24 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Grand Finale Regatta and Barbecue: April 25 at 1 p.m. at The Houston Yacht Club.

Ticket Info: Options start at $6 for a single matinee or $8.50 per single evening admission and range upward based on packages that customers purchase.
