This year's Streatham Festival is delighted to welcome world music superstar, Bassekou Kouyate and friends, to a night of amazing music and dance. Winners of the Awards for Best African Artist and Best Album of the Year at this year’s BBC Radio 3 Awards for World Music, the sensational and dynamic, Bassekou Kouyate and Ngoni ba will be spellbinding and exciting the audience on a fabulous acoustic journey into the blues soul of Bambara music of Mali.
