World Premiere Photo Exhibit: Meet the Russian Opposition December 1, 2011

The Institute of Modern Russia presents Russian Visionaries. Into the Light, a world premiere photo exhibit introducing the nascent but growing Russian political opposition to the American public in a stark, intimate way. Austere portraits show the gripping gaze of prominent writers, actors and activists who oppose the Kremlin’s authoritarian rule. These visionaries were brought together for this unique exhibit by Elena Khodorkovskaya, the first wife of political prisoner Mikhail Khodorkovsky.
