As part of an international movement, Singapore will be celebrating World Intellectual Property Day on 26 April 2013. Members of the public are invited to join HIP Alliance, a flagship outreach initiative of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), at their exciting event at Toa Payoh Hub, from 11am – 9pm. Themed “Enjoying IP through the Years”, the celebration aims to raise awareness about IP and encourage Singaporeans to embrace a more IP-savvy lifestyle.
Throughout the day, members of the public can also look forward to participating in an array of fun-filled activities – from photo booths with IP-related themes, to hands-on community artwork, and even treats from our local F&B companies
The evening finale will feature an exciting line-up of creative content including performances by local singer-songwriter Derrick Hoh, and a live 3D-effect video show. Ms Sim Ann, Senior Parliamentary Secretary (Ministry of Communication and Information & Ministry of Education), will grace the evening segment as the Guest-of-Honour. The evening will end off on a high note with a free screening of popular Disney animated movie, “Wreck-It-Ralph”.
